The Telugu year is divided into two parts - Uttarayana and Dakshinayana. The direction of the Sun determines this division. Unlike other Calendars which has 365 days, the Telugu Calendar has 360 days, with a total of 30 days in each month. This equals to a loss of 5 days which is corrected with an additional month called Adhika Maasa. Our Telugu Calendar 2014 is structured keeping all these factors in mind. Some of our best astrologers have worked on making this Telugu Calendar for 2014 most appropriate with data. In addition to dates and events, even the Muhurta (auspicious timing) is mentioned. Enjoy this new year by planning it advance and making every occasion a special one with the help of our 2014 Telugu calendar. Hope the information provided by our Telugu Calendar for 2014 makes this new year a eventful one. Wishing a Happy New Year 2014 to one and all!
