Meru Trayodashi: The festival of Meru Trayodashi falls on 30 January, Sunday as per Jain Calendar 2022 and has special significance in Jainism. It falls in Magha month. There is a tradition of worshipping Lord Rishabhanatha on this very day. It is believed that Lord Rishabhanatha attained Moksha by observing the fast on this day and he was the first of the 24 Tirthankaras of Jainism. Reciting the Mantra - ॐ रहीम्, श्रीम् अदिनाथ पारंगत्या नम: मंत्र। / oṃ rahīm, śrīm adinātha pāraṃgatyā nama is considered to be auspicious.
Rohini Vrat: One of the popular Jain Fasts 2022, Rohini Vrat is observed by married women for the long life of their husbands. It is believed that the fast of Maa Rohini helps get rid of poverty from the households and blesses the family with peace, prosperity, and tranquillity.
Mahavira Jayanti: The festival of Mahavira Jayanti is celebrated across the world by the people of the Jain community in remembrance of the last Tirthankar of Jainism. It is regarded as one of the popular Jain Festivals in 2022 and falls during March or April, as per the Gregorian calendar. As per the Hindu Panchang, it is the 13th day of the Chaitra month. On the day of his birth anniversary, a procession, known as Rath Yatra, is carried out with the idol of Lord Mahavira. The devotees of Lord Mahavira visit temples, worship him and recite religious hymns. Also, they seek his blessings for a healthy and prosperous life and give donations to the needy.

Lakshmi Puja: Lakshmi Puja is when Lord Mahavira attained Nirvana or Moksha, i.e. detachment from worldly pleasures. On this day, people of the Jain community worship Lord Mahavira, settle their pending transactions, open new accounts, etc. They do not believe in burning firecrackers and prefer to perform charity. On the same day, Nirvana Ladoos are prepared and offered to Lord Mahavira.
Maun Ekadashi: In Jainism, Maun Ekadashi is considered to be a highly auspicious and pious day. It falls during Margashirsha month as per Jain Calendar 2022 and it is believed that one who observes fast on this Ekadashi emancipates from all sorts of sins committed unknowingly. It is believed that on this day, Shri Aranath, who is the 18th Tirthankar, became a monk after renouncing the world. Also, Shri Mallinath, the 19th Tirthankar, was born and attained emancipation on the same day. Shri Neminath, the 22nd Tirthankar, also attained salvation on this very day.
Parshwanath Jayanti: The birth anniversary of Lord Parshwanath, the 23rd Tirthankara of Jain religion, is celebrated on Ekadashi Tithi in Paush month during Krishna Paksha as per Jain Calendar 2022. At the age of 30, he heard the legend of Rishabh Dev and renounced the kingdom. He is the symbol of forgiveness and social revolution. He emphasized Ahimsa so much that it became the principle of social life. He also preached that every soul deserves sympathy and respect.
